“ The outdoor patio, vibes, and gorgeous weather beckoned us here. And, we needed a cocktail after such a lackluster, questionable lunch at our previous location. Ambiance: no frills. Not fancy. But, it's clean, and has some cool, minimal, tiki decor. You can tell this place gets rowdy at night. Service: Our server, Paige, was super helpful, funny, and nice. Food/drink: The happy hour deals are good...from 3p to 7p! - We all got a piña colada. They were SO GOOD. They mix them pretty damn well, to the point that rum gets you like a sneaky ninja (you can't taste it, and stupid me thought they skimped on the booze....wrong!). - We also ordered the chicken skewers and coconut shrimp since appetizers were half off, and the chicken was incredibly tender, and grilled to perfection. The coconut shrimp, their namesake dish, lived up to the hype. They're fluffy and crunchy, and I could have had at least a dozen of them. I recommend this spot, if you want an unpretentious, and actually good spot to eat and drink in Scottsdale. And, the outdoor seating is a plus! We will be back for sure. . ”
“ All goodness. My beautiful wife suggested we take our beautiful and talented daughter to this restaurant in the heart of Old Scottsdale. I am glad she did. The food was delicious starting off with Artichoke dip, then Tonga French Toast topped off with bottomless mimosas and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this stop for brunch. ”
“ It's hit and miss with Drunk Munk but tonight was a HIT! It was time for some snacks and a drink after walking Scottsdazzle, and this bar and restaurant sits in the perfect location. After seeing the few lights scottsdazzle has this year, we stopped and popped in. Our waitress and hostess were the cutest! Both were speedy and efficient at checking in on our table and even stuck around for some holiday chat. The drinks are divine, the food is flavorful and the warmers are...warm. ”
“ Came here before seeing a show in Scottsdale. I was quickly greeted and showed to a table when I walked in. I like the tiki decor and dim lighting. The music volume was a little loud but nothing crazy, it is in old town after all. The waitress checked in on us the right amount and the food came out super fast. We shared the pu pu platter. It was really delicious but not as grand as it looks on the menu. The cocktail menu was a little underwhelming in my opinion. There were a ton of options but nothing super creative or unique so I wouldn't recommend this place if that's what you're looking for. But if you don't care about that and just want a tropical drink to go with your meal, it's perfect for that! ”
“ My friend and I came here for happy hour on a Friday evening. It was not too busy when we arrived and were seated upon arrival. Food/Drinks: My friend and I got a flaming bowl drink to share. It was a standard tiki drink, and it was delicious. For food, we ordered the fries, spinach dip and some maki rolls. The food was pretty good. The prices for happy hour were pretty affordable. Service: Service was a bit slow at first. Given how large the restaurant was, our server was always running around. Our food and drinks came promptly after ordering though. Everyone who interacted with was pretty friendly! TL;DR - not a bad happy hour spot with good deals and good drinks ”
